We're looking to hire Program Ambassadors

Open to ambitious high school students who demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and initiative to support the inaugural launch of the program.

Program Ambassador
Job Description

Ambassador responsibilities:
  • Support the Program Chair and portfoliio VPs in organizing and managing ceremonies, workshops, and competition logistics at UBC.

  • Attend mandatory weekly/bi-weekly in-person meetings to prepare for the program’s launch.

  • Recruit program participants by promoting the BizAI Accelerated Program through presentations at business classes in your school and neighboring high schools.

  • Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts, both in person and across social media platforms.

Qualifications:
  • Highly adaptable and willing to learn.

  • Strong initiative and ability to take on responsibility.

  • Previous experience or involvement in school clubs or extracurricular activities.

  • Dependable, organized, and committed to excellence.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Interest and passion for business and/or AI.

  • (Preferred but not required) Experience with business cases and competitions.

Time commitment and availability:
  • Approximately 4–6 hours per week, with additional time required closer to the program’s start

  • Must be available from January to May

Hiring Process

1. Submit your Application by January 19 @11:59 PM PST

Complete the form below, including your resume and responses to the application questions.

2. Optional interviews (if necessary)

Short, 10–15 minute interviews may be conducted for top candidates to clarify their skills, motivations, and availability. These can be done online via Zoom or in person.

Note: If applications are strong enough, interviews may not be required.

3. Be informed of final hiring decisions by January 22

All candidates will be informed of their hiring status and next steps by January 25. Selected ambassadors will attend a brief orientation session and a Dinner Social the following weekend.
